Since we’re seeing an influx in photos of LIC from liQcity readers, it’s officially time to launch a liQcity flickr pool for our very photogenic hood. Photos of construction sites, buildings, developments, film/TV shoots, signs, oddities, or just general photos of LIC are welcome. We’ll occasionally use photos from the pool on the site, so if you shoot anything interesting in LIC, send ‘em over.

Good frigid morning in Long Island City. In case you haven’t noticed, posting on liQcity is going to be light and sporadic through the rest of the year. Regular blogging will resume in January, and liQcity is looking for contributors.
