<description>I noticed that on another section of this site somebody mentioned that people are opposed to giving Blend a liquor license. What's the deal with that? The interior of Blend is so pretty... I was just thinking the other day that they should take away some of the tables at night and use it as a bar. And clear out the back so they have some outside area. Then put a projector with some shots of tropical places on the wall for summer, and some live music. It'd be sweet.

<description>I went there for Brunch today, and it was such a nice suprise. 2 people got two big brunch plates, (with excellent huevos rancheros), bottomless coffee, an acai juice and very friendly service from Billy all for the low price of $20 (excluding tip). I left there thinking, damn! same price for these plates at Coatzingo (best Mexican restaurant in Jackson Heights), and the vibe and service is a hell of an improvement....

<description>I went here a couple weeks ago, and the service was excellent, and the food fantastic. My only complaint is the rather short menu - the choices are pretty much the same as any other Latino restaurant.

How about some choices that are more authentic and not "made for Americans"?

:-)
