It's strange because this is a restaurant that was fully supported by neighbors at the hearings. They have been in operation for more than a year and their primary offering is clearly food. It's a welcoming environment for families, etc., etc. Not to put Testaccio down but they just showed up a few months ago as an unknown entity, there had been some controversy over their possible use of a backyard deck area, there was not a huge groundswell of support (as there was for Rustica) but bam! they already have their license.
