• In partnership with the Long Island City Community Boathouse (LICCB) and Partnerships for Parks, Socrates Sculpture Park also hosts FREE boating in Hallets Cove run by LICCB. • Music in the Garden at Noguchi Museum on July 12 featuring Gamelan Son of Lion playing music representing traditional Indonesia as well as contemporary compositions from American & Indonesian composers.

• Flux Factory‘s Going Places (Doing Stuff), an adventurous social experiment of artist-led tours to secret destinations, returns this summer for Part 2: July 11 through September 5.

• The Queens Players, in association with the Secret Theatre and lit mag The Ampersand Review, present: The White Box Theatre Festival, an evening of new one act plays. Two programs of 6 plays each, running from July 15 thru 31st.

• 7th Annual Musical Saw Festival, curated by ‘The Saw Lady’, Natalia Paruz, right here in LIC on July 18th at Trinity Church. Also attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the ‘Largest Musical Saw Ensemble.’
