That place is closed a lot. How they stay in business, I’ll never know.

They stay in business because they cater to the couthouse and citi crowds and must do well. As long as I have lived in LIC (14 years) I have never seen them open in the evening or on the weekends

They recently started opening on Saturday nights.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they also owned the building they’re in and pay no mortgage or rent. One way to have a business in LIC…low overhead.

We noticed this.

Brooks was closed by the Dept. of Health & Mental Hygiene, as it said on a sign on the door yesterday. A another sign appeared today that read, ‘Due to sewer line break Brooks will be closed for 2 days. Sorry.’
