<description>nothing is wrong with brokering. however, there is something wrong with deception. anyway, judging by your freakout defensive reaction, apparently you're not so confident that there's nothing wrong with it.

<description>This constant speculation over who I am and what I do is funny. (In fact, I'm not an I but a we.) So what if one of us a b-b-broker? What if one of us is licensed as a broker, and that's how they learned about real estate in NYC, especially LIC, but doesn't practice anymore and instead of brokering started a couple of digital media sites aimed at educating the public. Do you see the owner of the blog trying to solicit any direct clients? hmmm... no. And even if that was happening - it's not a crime you know. It's actually a wise and legitimate business practice in this day and age.

What if the owner of the blog was a metal worker with an obsessive interest in real estate? What if it was a landlord in LIC just trying to get the good word out about his neighborhood? What if this is Arris Lofts just trying to dupe you all into buying there? If the latter were the case, we're not doing a very good job. Regardless, there's tons of good info on this site and if you missed that, well it's your loss.

What the F is wrong with brokering? I'll tell you - if I were a broker (which I might be), I might consider going back to brokering because blogs don't really pay the bills you know. If you are suspicious of someone who's just blogging about life and real estate in an emerging neighborhood and discover that (gasp) they might be licensed as a broker... what have you really discovered? The Pope's Catholic btw, in case you didn't know that either.

<description>the increasingly broker flavor of this site got me suspicious so i looked up the registration info for the liqcity.com domain. the owner lists an address in manhattan, and from some google searching, the owner appears to be a real estate professional. what's the deal? is this just another broker blog? i'm not making any judgments, just would like the truth.

the constant curbed linking to eric b, a fine and now this site's posts is just becoming so transparent.
