What is the free shuttle pass for? A bus? Is there a schedule? Thanks!

Is this shuttle for real? How often does it come? Good questions, Vanessa!

Check it out- it’s for real for this weekend and next. Yay, Liqcity and Solarium! :)

Thanks! Can I print out a bunch of them? It seems like it…

The shuttle seems very poorly organized. Nowhere does it say what times you can catch the buses. If it’s free, what’s the point of having to print out a boarding pass. It’s a good idea, but seems badly executed. Any feedback on using it would be helpful.

Yeah, what’s the deal? How often does it run? How many are there? If one isn’t there do you just wait and for how long? I think I’ll just take the MTA shuttle to Queensboro Plaza.

But good idea for the Grand Central shuttle. I know it’s brand new and there are bound to be kinks to work out, but there should be more info available. How about it liQcity? Any more details?

Hi friends. We are not involved with the shuttle and don’t know any more details than what is posted here. If anyone finds out the time information they can post it in the comments. Cheers.

Hello Everyone

The shuttle is running once an hour on the hour (approx) at the corner of 50th Ave & Vernon Blvd. Were still ironing some of the kinks so please be patient with us. Next week will be a bit more organized!

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

Thanks

Rick Rosa

It’s a bus for weekends to see a condo.

why does the boarding pass for the “lic express” have a picture of san francisco and some other city that looks like toronto or seattle? weird.

#10 Anonymous / 1 year, 12 months ago

Can someone pls remind when the 7 train starts working again on the weekends?

#11 Anonymous / 1 year, 12 months ago

#11, it about 7 more weekends. They said it will take 8-10 weekends to finish work and there are only been two so far.

how did the shuttle work out this weekend? did anyone try it?

#13 Anonymous / 1 year, 11 months ago

#13 I tried the shuttle bus this weekend. It happened to be there at the same time I walked over. It’s nice that the merchants offered us this service. Though, I don’t think it’s in their best interest. I didn’t hear of anyone using the shuttle to come to LIC from the city unless they live in LIC. Everyone I know used it to get out of LIC to go into the city. I appreciated the ride and hope they continue it.

As much as I appreciate the merchants coming to the rescue with the shuttle, it shouldn’t let the MTA off the hook for their outrageous negligence. The shuttle service just proves how ridiculous the MTA is for refusing to provide adequate transit alternatives to the people of LIC while they work on the endless No. 7 project. They are a disgrace.

#16 great that you mentioned tonights gathering. I hope everyone who has something to say shows up, we need them!

#17 Anonymous / 1 year, 11 months ago

Its shameful that private businesses must do the work of the MTA.

#18 Anonymous / 1 year, 11 months ago

What’s next? All the local businesses starting a police force that will actually take victims’ reports when they get mugged?

#19 Anonymous / 1 year, 11 months ago

#19 no I think they’ll leave that up to us civilians to make citizens arrests!
