L Haus seems to not have their 15% certificate of occupancy. Does it seem like too risky an investment for them to be asking $600 / sq ft on?

Re the destruction of Hector Canonge’s public arts piece: It’s a sign that bringing a certain kind of awareness to Queens is an uphill battle, which is why the area is so ripe for this kind of cultural opening up. As for the bystander and composer Ziggi Rillo, who \boasted\ that if the art piece had been there 20 years ago–when he was in music school, no doubt, learning to appreciate a variety of different art forms–that he and his fellow pals \would’ve blown it up,\ we can only observe that such a statement says more about + Ziggi and his attitudes towards new and unique kinds of art, rather than anything about the Borough of Queens in general, of which he is certainly not a typical representative. I only look forward to blowing a raspberry during Mr. Ziggi’s next concert.
