Nice visual with all the balloons and everything but this map is bogus over and over. Come on.

I like how wrong it is.

Where are the symbols to indicate spots where cars have been stolen? Maybe a frowning emoticon?

I’m annoyed by this website, which is obviously intended to help cheapskates from outside the neighborhood dump their cars on our crammed local streets instead of parking their car in a garage.

I think we should organize an armada of shitty cars to drive out to Nassau, Whitestone, Scarsdale — god know’s where — and leave them outside the homes of these a$$holes.

Another intention could also be just to help out of towners find parking in NYC. It’s not easy. People are allowed to live in other places, and drive to NYC and find some free parking. Not ALL people who drive and park in LIC are stealing spots away from residents by dumping their cars. They’re just coming to park and visit the city like anyone else. It’s not an evil sin.

It is a public street. Nobody has any more a right to parking on it than anyone else.

WTF is with all the businesses in this neighborhood posting fake Yelp reviews of their own place? First The Creek, now Lucky Mojo is doing it:

Doesn’t Yelp patrol their reviews? It is turning out CitySearch. Pathetic.

Even just one somewhat positive review of Lucky Mojo’s would make me suspicious. Worst. BBQ. EVER.

i couldnt help but laugh at the ravel hotel videos…was really hoping that place would be as awesome as it’s potential (especially considering it’s view) but our one visit impression – a place trying too hard with gino-beats blasting…it is low-brow with lawng island promoters…watch the video and you get it – it wont be anything LIC was hoping for unfortunately…really disappointed!

Is it true Water Taxi Beach has a $35 cover now?

#10 Anonymous / 2 years, 8 months ago

9, agreed. I especially love the lingering shots of the waitresses’ behinds.

Ravel is a joke

My friends went to WTB on Memorial Day and the cover was $25!! Are you kidding me??

#13 Anonymous / 2 years, 8 months ago

13, good. Maybe it will keep the savages out.

#14 Anonymous / 2 years, 8 months ago

14, I think B&T savages will be the only ones there and keep the rest of us out.

Warning to any WTB savage who is reading this: if any of you dare smash my neighbor’s planter to the ground (like you did last summer) as you stagger on your way to the subway at 3am, I will hunt you down and force feed the soil and broken flowers down your throat!

Everyone is a tuff guy on the internet. You will do nothing of the sort. Maybe yo’l stand in your window and shake your head.

WTB is way overpriced and over rated!!! If you want a fun atmosphere outside, go to the new beer garden, Studio Square, now that place is fun, and reasonably priced!

Message to WTB savages: listen to No. 18!
