Has anyone else noticed that foodcellar seems to have dropped prices?

#2 Anonymous / 3 years ago

Foodcellar is actually great, i get lunch there all the time, they make amazing sandwiches!!! and are actually comparable to everyone else in regards of price.

What kind of sandwiches do they make? And on weekends too?

I love foodcellar and yes, I’ve found their prices are a bit lower. I am very happy with the market.

They just need more JIF regular peanut butter.

Foodcellar is great, but their prepared foods are consistently crap.

4eva, what an ironic use of the number 4.

The foodcellar may have dropped some prices, but overall they are still VERY expensive. The produce is still not turning over fast enough so a lot of it is on it’s way out and dies quickly in the fridge. Also sometimes the fruit has been prefrozen and when you get home it’s inedible. Not always, but it definitely happens.

I still don’t think that sign is iconic.

Is Pepsi paying anyone for this sign? Why do people so badly want a big Pepsi sign? I know the sign has been on the water for years and years, but so what?

It ended up as part of the deal for the sale of the Pepsi site, so everyone’s stuck with it; like it or not.

Pepper + Egg sandwich at Mario’s!

Potato pepper and egg at Mario’s.
I had dinnr at Shi last night and my view was the first letter up on the sign. I was so glad to see that, I can’t wait to have it back.

I had some kind of salami sandwich at Manducadi’s Rustica that was so good, I’m drooling just thinking about it now. I like Mario’s because it’s been there forever, but the food is meh. Sorry, but it’s true.

Anyone know more about the fire at the Crabhouse or the warehouse connected to it last night? It was around midnight and there was a lot of smoke – no flames, but lots of fireman activity.
