Ethereal is a great store! The woman who owns, I know we are not allowed to say the name, but she is so sweet and nice. I wish we had more stores like hers.

Does anyone know what the deal was with the low flying helicopter last night by the water. This is now two nights in a row that the helicopter was flying around at night making a ton of noise

I don’t know what the deal is with the helicopter, but when we’re paying this kind of money, I don’t think we should have to put up with helicopters.

Right. Stop the helicopters. Kill the Canada geese. Free, no-hassle parking. $15 drinks with hand-cut ice on demand, everywhere. Sushi and pizza no more than two steps in any direction. Unlimited convenience and every need seen to. Can I ask what you people ever do to deserve being treated like goddamn Arab princes? Please catch swine flu. The world is better off without you.

Why has an announcement re: a charity event at Ethereal Boutique been hi-jacked and taken over by ranters who want to complain about helicopters? Please, liqcity – It is time to start monitoring and controlling your blog.

I also heard a fire truck and my doorman said there was a poor person on Vernon. Its a good thing Shi delivers.

I like Ethereal, too. The store is very ecclectic and I like it that they have ‘events’ like this. Why aren’t we allowed to say the owner’s name?

As for all the whining, this is NY!!!! It’s noisy and stuff happens all the time.

It’s the Illuminati.

Haha. Rich people in waterfront apartments complaining about the even richer folks flying home to the Hamptons in their private helicopters… that’s rich.

I stoped by Ethereal and they had pretty cool stuff. It is a nice shop to have in the hood. I wonder what is ghoing on with the space next to it. It was rumored to be a fench restaturant that already has an establishment in Williamsburg but it seems like they halted the whole project.

I like that the boutique is actually doing something in the community. They are not just the gentry arriving to save all the unfortunate. These are the people I want to hear from. Good post.
