Subdivision held a fashion show yesterday evening at the incredible Foundry event space, featuring the local designers who sell their masterpieces at the boutique on Vernon Blvd. The event, which was originally aimed towards press and fashion buyers, but then later open to the public and resulted in a great turn-out.

A bizarre bazaar of baffling be-headed beauties! Costumery at its finest! Great for Venice Carnivale. Sorry – only going by the few flickr photos shown here. I’m sure they are are all potential great young designers, and I wish them well.

Wish this was posted the day BEFORE, because I would have gone. No one can commented because no one went. Where was info about this party except in Subdivision/

Normally I don’t respond to such commentary, but #3 it was not posted because we were originally informed that the show was intended for press, and buyers for the designers only… but then it became public and we weren’t informed. Had we known that, you would have known ahead of time. But it looks like Subdivision will do this again considering how successful it was, and also how much fun.

Wearable art and fashion do hand in hand in these designs. A sense of fun and elegance. Congratulations! As far as the comment on the Venice Carnivale… I don’t think so…
