Dutch Kills Alert
This news has been widely circulated on the web today, but in case you missed the news of random violence at Queens Plaza, it seems wise to just be aware. A woman was stabbed in front of her daughter by a stranger riding a bicycle at the corner of Queens Plaza North and 22nd St in Dutch Kills.
Latest news was that she was in critical condition.

Maybe I watch too much Law & Order - or perhaps I just have a cynical mind - something tells me that this was not “random” and that she was a “target”. Whatevever it turns it to be, I wish her well and hope she recovers.

Like #1 I read about this happening in Williamsburg in an another blog. However, I have not heard about it on the evening news but that might be because I was out of town. Has this been covered in any of the eveing news programs?
Speaking of strange……………..Didn’t someone in Hunters Point (on Vernon Blvd., I believe) get stabbed by someone riding a bike, sometime late last year or earlier this year?

Yes! A guy did. On Vernon.
A man was stabbed on Vernon across the street from McReilly’s last summer. The attacker was on a bicycle - just rode by the man walking on Vernon, stabbed him and rode away. The victim did not know the attacker. No one has been arrested so far. A random act of violence was how the police described the attack. This current attack sounds eerily similar.
It looks like they caught the guy lets hope we have the right guy.
The jury should ride past this monster on their bikes in the courtroom and stab him when he’s convicted.
Some guy in Williamsburg was also stabbed recently by someone on a bike. Very strange.
