Luxury condo development is what was sold before the hotel craze and it's another blind sited money maker for people who don't give a flying ---- about a neighborhood. Who are these thousands of travelers that will come here. These purples are using the same old cry poverty, just like the CUNY dorm situation. The developer will convert these hotels to living eventually. Down zone now Dutch kills! keep fighting this administration. We know that the word from on high is to not to stop building under any circumstance. That is unless a crane falls on you. By the way....a building that is in fact near the crane site, and is not damaged is using it as a scare tactic to get tenants to move out. He is already trying to sell the building.
