Then & Now Shots: The Gantry

Since I’m doing a blog about LIC now, I decided to poke back through my photo archives and dig up shots from the spring of 2006, when I was not working that much and spent days biking around LIC taking photos.

Wow. The neighborhood has transformed so significantly, but watching it day to day doesn’t really give you a sense of the progression. Looking at photographs from 1 & 1/2 years ago is a different story. I didn’t have time to edit all the shots, so here’s just a little taste.
