Ethereal - A new women’s clothing boutique manifesting on Vernon Blvd

Ethereal, 47-38 Vernon Blvd
The Grand Opening of Ethereal, a women’s clothing boutique on Vernon Blvd
A peek in the window produced a lot of reflection from the street, as witnessed in the photographs. But you can get a sense of the flavor. Looks trendy.
So is this the dreaded ‘yuppification’ or general improvement/evolution of the neighborhood? Or both?
qw had csk…this blog has brandon..very tight with the “blogger” tools one and all
I’m so tight with the blogger tools. Totally.
This is such a cute little store! Its contemporary - the owner has background in design, shops all over the world for major companies. She brings in the latest from LA, London - even Czech country! lol Pretty cool.
Everything in the store is for sale (including this cute mirror with faux horns I HAVE to have!). Some eco friendly stuff too. Nice addition to the neighborhood.
ethereal: 1. Highly refined : delicate. 2. Heavenly.
This is the definition I found in Webster’s Dictionary and this new, delightful boutique embodies the definition. As I strolled under the majestic file of chandeliers I couldn’t help feeling a bit aristocratic and was pleasantly impressed with the owner as she, actually provided styling to a customer. I highly recommend browsing the racks of tasteful garments and artistic house wares. I will be back and the men’s shirt with the dragons across the chest is mine. Denizens of Long Island City and beyond, be sure to check out this little slice of heaven on Vernon. I remain…

It was a great place to stop in. Ethereal offers a wide variety of items. Not just clothes. Great unique gift items. A great place to pick up an unusual gift.
Vernon is looking hip and cool with places like this.

Is it “hip” or “trendy”? I mean, is it like yuppie swank whatever or is it kinda cool indie-designer stuff? There’s actually a lot of really cool boutiques in Williamsburg (expensive as they are) but often with stuff designed by local folks.
I suppose I’ll walk by there soon enough.
